Thank you for offering citizens to comment freely on the Bitcoin ETF application.
I believe that it is important that the United States remains a bastion of freedom, of information, of finances, and the internet.
Bitcoin offers security to people all around the world. Bitcoin offers the complete and total ability for individuals to control digital assets. Users can own a private key in a fashion that cannot be taken away, cannot be manipulated, cannot be seized.
This is a core tenant of the United States, that we control our own destinies, our own assets.
I understand that FIAT conversions and banking will be taxed. This is to be expected. But Bitcoin itself must be protected for what it is: Free Speech and Independent Digital Financial Security.
Crypto Currencies are both in the form of assets and value markets, as well as literal digital code that is decentralized. This is a powerful new frontier that the United States should be embracing.
Furthermore, the majority of Crypto Currencies are fully verifiable and public. It is in this fashion more secure and more traceable than regular money. It is more efficient for international banking. It is more secure than traditional payment gateways.
Please take the time to consider carefully the advantages that Bitcoin and other decentralized crypto currencies offer to users in the United States.
They offer freedom and protection.
