I always think to myself, would the United States be the super power it is today, if we had not been the country to perfect the internet and build tech giants such as Google, Facebook, Apple, and the like. The world relies on our digital infrastructure, and we benefit immensely. If we let another country be the ones to perfect block chain, I firmly believe we will weaken America's standing in the world. An ETF by itself isn't going to be the holy grail, but it is a great first step to engage the more mainstream investor, and drive use cases that will benefit society. It's time for the United States to signal that we are the leaders on block chain technology.
