It is vital that investors have access to such a a significant new asset class as bitcoin. The alternative to a regulated ETF is purchase at primarily unregulated exchanges lacking SEC oversight, given that such exchanges offer the greatest liquidity in the absence of a regulated security. The stated security protocols for this ETF are superior to those the average investor can access on his own, and will provide a secure and regulated method of bitcoin ownership.
