Dear SEC Commissioners,
Please do not give in to industry pressures on Section 1504 of the Dodd-Frank Act (the Cardin-Lugar Amendment) - and make sure that ALL companies are covered, every country and every project gets reported, and loopholes that would allow large sums of money to go unreported are closed.
My Comment:
Greetings, Please help protect the rights of people here and abroad today by stopping under the radar deals with corrupt leaders. Fair trade rather than "free" trade is necessary to help end slavery around the world, help get our own economy fixed again, and all in all help us do it in an ethical way that is more concerned with the people involved in the process and life rather than just money. So please vote to do the right thing as we all reap what we sow.
