Dear SEC Commissioners,

Please do not give in to industry pressures on Section 1504 of the Dodd-Frank Act (the Cardin-Lugar Amendment) - and make sure that ALL companies are covered, every country and every project gets reported, and loopholes that would allow large sums of money to go unreported are closed.

My Comment:

It is time that the benefits of the resources of a country go to the people of that country. While oil and other companies grow richer, in many African countries, the people get poorer and the developed world (mostly the US) is asked to make up the difference. The oil companies are making very large profits so they can easily pay their fair share. And it must be transparent so the people know what their government is getting. DO NOT BACK DOWN on tough regulations. Bernadette Jones
