Dear SEC Commissioners,
Please do not give in to industry pressures on Section 1504 of the Dodd-Frank Act (the Cardin-Lugar Amendment) - and make sure that ALL companies are covered, every country and every project gets reported, and loopholes that would allow large sums of money to go unreported are closed.
My Comment:
Oil and oil companies play such a key role in the world's economy, they already affect political decions. We need to know more about how they are affecting other economies and other political entities around the world as to lessen the possibilities that decisions are made based solely on what is good for the oil companies, not what is good for the earth and all peoples.
