Dear SEC Commissioners,

Please do not give in to industry pressures on Section 1504 of the Dodd-Frank Act (the Cardin-Lugar Amendment) - and make sure that ALL companies are covered, every country and every project gets reported, and loopholes that would allow large sums of money to go unreported are closed.

My Comment:

These "secret deals" are outrageous and must end. If the SEC can take action to end these destructive practices then it must do so in the interests of the people of these countries, the image of the United States, and the amount of foreign aid we send overseas. By forcing the oil companies to pay fair wages in an above board manner, these nations' economies will do better and therefore require less aid to avoid starvation and disease.
