Dear SEC Commissioners,
Please do not give in to industry pressures on Section 1504 of the Dodd-Frank Act (the Cardin-Lugar Amendment) - and make sure that ALL companies are covered, every country and every project gets reported, and loopholes that would allow large sums of money to go unreported are closed.
My Comment:
It is time for our government to work for the people and stop giving in to big corporations that only have their financial interest at heart. If you could treat every American and world citizen as if it were your mother, father, uncle cousin, as if they were your very own child that would change the world for the better. It is time to recognize that we are not going anywhere, the less fortunate deserve to have better lives. You see we contribute. After all whose back do you think you are riding on after all. We don't want to be your beast of burden. Stop the greedy oil companies from taking advantage.
