Subject: File No. S7-42-10 - Comment from Iyeshatu Ajawara

February 10, 2012

Dear SEC Commissioners,

Please do not give in to industry pressures on Section 1504 of the Dodd-Frank Act (the Cardin-Lugar Amendment) - and make sure that ALL companies are covered, every country and every project gets reported, and loopholes that would allow large sums of money to go unreported are closed.

My Comment:

This is the year 2012. It's time to stop sacrificing our people's happiness for the benefits of big corporate gains. Our people have the rights to basic needs. The equation doesn't add up, 70% of the population suffer with extreme poveryty while the country is blessed with oil. The oil should be the property of the people and not the government. It's time to put an end to corruption in AFRICA!
