Dear SEC Commissioners,
Please do not give in to industry pressures on Section 1504 of the Dodd-Frank Act (the Cardin-Lugar Amendment) - and make sure that ALL companies are covered, every country and every project gets reported, and loopholes that would allow large sums of money to go unreported are closed.
My Comment:
Millions and millions of people around the world impoverished and no one in government seems to notice when giant corporations move into a country, makes sweetheart deals with corrupt governments, and the country's natural resources, and the environment plundered. Again and again we read these stories and nothing ever changes. who, in a position of power and authority, will do something?
