Dear SEC Commissioners,
Please do not give in to industry pressures on Section 1504 of the Dodd-Frank Act (the Cardin-Lugar Amendment) - and make sure that ALL companies are covered, every country and every project gets reported, and loopholes that would allow large sums of money to go unreported are closed.
My Comment:
We have reached the point in time where the people of the world need to know whose pockets are being greased. Knowledge of the facts lifts the veil of secrecy too often present in our world. Knowledge of the facts prepares those whose rights have been suppressed to petition for fairer treatment from their governments.
