Subject: File No. S7-42-10 - Comment from Anonymous

Dear SEC Commissioners,

Please do not give in to industry pressures on Section 1504 of the Dodd-Frank Act (the Cardin-Lugar Amendment) - and make sure that ALL companies are covered, every country and every project gets reported, and loopholes that would allow large sums of money to go unreported are closed.

My Comment:

On Section 1504, please follow the language of the law, not the demands of industry. I've always believed that money talks and no where is that more obvious in resource-rich African countries with some of the poorest populations in the world (see DRC). It hurts me deeply when I read of arrested economic development, another famine, underfunded education and health budgets, Saudi land grabs in east African countries, and the revolting action of Shell and the other oil giants in the Niger Delta. You must stand up to these greedy oil companies. Their leadership and blood thirsty shareholders will never be satisfied. The African leaders are also to be blamed--too short-sighted and corrupt to see what they are doing to their own. I urge you to stand for what we say America believes in.
