Subject: File No. S7-42-10 - Comment from Kevin Gregson

February 11, 2012

Dear SEC Commissioners,

Please do not give in to industry pressures on Section 1504 of the Dodd-Frank Act (the Cardin-Lugar Amendment) - and make sure that ALL companies are covered, every country and every project gets reported, and loopholes that would allow large sums of money to go unreported are closed.

My Comment:

All deals between American companies and foreign entities, especially representatives of foreign governments or with those governments, should be completely open. There is no reason for secrecy to be allowed. And we wonder why people in these impoverished countries would turn to terrorism and hate us. We scarf up their natural resources and pay some corrupt official who pockets all the money. Real security is shedding light on this unethical foreign policy.
