Dear SEC Commissioners,
Please do not give in to industry pressures on Section 1504 of the Dodd-Frank Act (the Cardin-Lugar Amendment) - and make sure that ALL companies are covered, every country and every project gets reported, and loopholes that would allow large sums of money to go unreported are closed.
My Comment:
There will be a global war if the top percentage of the population continues to take and take and not give anything to the rest of the population, like good paying jobs, healthy food and clean water, affordable health care, child care, and ownership of a decent place to live. These demands are not too much, and to let the BIG OIL and other companies to rape the earth and make deals in secret must stop. DO NOT ALLOW the law that make it a requirement to disclose the past shady back room deals, (and to perhaps stop them from happening) be gutted. Stand strong against the top global 1%. I will! You should do no less.
