Please do everything that you can to make sure that we have a strong Volcker Rule. I am worse off, and my retirement savings have been hit hard by the fallout from banks who gambled bit, then got my tax dollars to cover their losses.
Ban banks from risky proprietary trades. Business people who want to be in that risky business can do it outside of any title of "bank" and without any FDIC support.
Banks that would break the rule need to know that there will be swift, automatic penalties for violations, that will wipe out their "winnings" from the practices.
