After researching and understanding, at least on a basic level, the conflict in the DRC, the regulations on this financial reform bill is imperative in ending the mass-rape, disease, hunger, and dehumanization that is taking place. We, as consumers, have a right to know whether the products we buy are helping to fund violence, rape, and murder in the Congo. I hope that the SEC keeps a strong stance and does not allow corporations to have their way in weakening this bill and profit from, as well as fund, the genocide.
