Dear Sir/Madam, I am writing to express my support for fair competition in American markets. I urge the Commission to ensure that all market participants have an equal opportunity to fill orders. I ask the SEC to eliminate conflicts of interest by banning Payment for Order Flow (PFOF) in US markets. I believe that fair competition is essential and that the Commission needs to ensure that monopolistic behavior is eliminated and profiteering middlemen are removed from the market. PFOF robs American households and enriches market makers who have been blindly trusted to give the best execution. I urge the SEC to investigate conflicts of interest among the most prominent market participants to ensure fairness for all investors - most importantly, American households. Enforcement of SEC rules needs to be improved with higher fines to serve as a significant deterrent for breaking the law. In cases where broker-dealers have violated the law, they should lose their licenses instead of receiving fines that are insignificant to them. .
