October 29, 2022 The whole concept of swaps is unnecessarily complicated, largely due to the lack of regulation and transparency associated with these financial \"instruments\". It really makes the stock market feel like a casino, a regular retail investor would not be trading these, therefor have no clue what these are or what they do. It would benefit and help investors know more if swaps were properly AND promptly reported. I am all for any rule that requires the firms and banks of wall street to report more frequently and factually. We cannot allow them to continue operating in the dark.
