October 29, 2022 Our markets seem nefarious and rigged. There are too many \"hacks\" or \"cheats\" the large firms can use that retail traders cannot. We the people of the United States need to have more transparency into the markets. As of right now, I do not have any confidence the markets are fair. The more transparency we can have, the better and more fair the playing field for ALL investors, not just the large organizations. If we want the United States stock market to be considered a true fair market, price discovery needs to exist alongside transparency of the \"tricks\" used by large firms to hide their positions. Swap data should be transparent and available. Public companies that list on the stock exchange (and retail investors) should be able to visualize what large swap positions exist on their companies and the companies they invest in.
