I think that any rule bringing daylight upon the murky operations of wall street hedge funds should be embraced.

Here we have a chance to get have short sellers show thier position on PUBLICLY traded companies, many of whom have been run into bankruptcy by cloaked short selling funds.
Does that sound like a free and fair market??

When a fund manager makes over a million dollars a day do we really care that properly reporting short positions may cost the funds a million dollars a year to comply??

The existing practice has made it possible for Wall Street to pile shirts upon a new company, dragging them into bankruptcy.

A new reporting system would allow ture accurate price discovery, perhaps for the first time since the stock market was computerized

I hope the powers that be can finally come to the aid of the retail investors instead of helping keep the veil drawn across the systematic darkness of the United States stock markets .

You have the power to change reporting rules, don't let that slip through your hands...
