I am a new investor to the stock market as of late 2021. Over the course of the year I have already become extremely disillusioned with the supposed \"fair and free market\" that Wallstreet should afford the retailer investors. When bad actors are able to use PFOF, dark pools, naked shorting, FTDs, swaps, etc. to completely undermine the financial system and retail investor's protections and rights then the situation is dire indeed. I currently have little to no faith in Wallstreet and do not believe they have the retail investor's interest at heart. Unless there is substantial change and enforcement against these egregious acts against the retail investors I will no longer be participating in the American stock market.
