I understand policies and procedures must be followed to implement a new rule. That being said, Im really hoping this is only a formality, as a comment period for a rule thats intended to prevent fraud in security-based swaps should be implemented immediately. Youre 14 years late to the table regarding swaps, SEC, but better late than never. In the words of John McClane: Welcome to the party pal
Please pay careful attention to the comments that push back on swaps regulation. These are the conflicted parties that have a vested and corrupt interest in swaps.
Lastly. Can you please bring comments into the 20th century. Not withstanding the privacy implications of requiring AND PUBLICLY PUBLISHING PII for rule comments, removing, rather than escaping special characters like exclamation points, quotation marks, and apostrophes just makes for a poor experience.
