I am in favor of these rules. The only thing I will say is that I am truly skeptical of any rules such as these actually working / being enforced.
This last year it has become extremely obvious for anyone watching that Reg-SHO is largely ignored by broker-dealers and they continue to hurt the market unpunished. Only \"Punished\" at best with fines so small it's merely a fraction of the total profit created, becoming almost a \"cost of buissnes\".
The market is very broken. And I doubt any new rules will create compliance amongst the criminals. We dont need new rules and law to go un-enforced. We need to see the bad actors go to jail. We need real consequences.
Retail is becoming extremely fed up with it. Trust is easily lost, and VERY difficult to gain.
