I work in a high school and it's very hard to explain how in a free market what transpired happened with minimal or 0 consequences. I try to explain things and let them connect the dots. When all of us see a fine is less than what is earned it doesn't do anything but become the cost of doing business. Unfortunately, even a student who isn't even old enough to vote comes to the conclusion things are not right in the markets because no one likes cheaters. There is corruption and it falls on you to fix it. This future generation is also watching. If you don't act, they will not put into pensions, they will not trust 401k's, they will not trust the market and they won't trust the banks...and none of us will blame them as this industry dies. I am in favor of this rule and harsher penalties for those who break your rules Keep it honest, keep it fair.
