On 02/07/2022 a particular stock opened and closed on the exact same price, said stock was shorted all day long, retail buy orders went through the dark pool all day, to my understanding the dark pool is used for institutional large buys so they dont sway the price, that being said there seems to be NO supply and demand in the US Stock Market, it seems that the MM makes the share price whatever they like to suit their needs, maybe to avoid margin calls or manipulate the options chain. Im not 100% what they are doing and why, i can only speculate and read the public data which points directly to crime CHINA has done more to curb these criminals than the US has, we need change, change the SEC could implement tomorrow if they choose to do so by banning dark pool trading, however the SEC refuses to act, which in my eyes makes them complicit The world is watching and losing faith in the US Stock Market as Im sure youre aware of from the complaints and message boards Im sure the SEC has read Hopefully soon there will be faith restored to the US Stock Market
