These rules are a step in the right direction. I applaud Mr. Gensler and his team for trying to rectify the current state of the markets. More common-sense regulation would do wonders for Americas prosperity. I believe these rules could go further and implicitly disallow manipulations/fraud/deception in relation to all assets under the SECs purview. Thank you.
