As a fairly new investor, I was disappointed to learn of the extent that our financial markets are able to be manipulated by powerful players, as well as tools and techniques they use to manipulate the value of companies and directly affect retail investments. Retail investors invest hard earned money in full faith that our financial markets are fair to everyone. I believe that policies such as this proposal is the beginning to a more fair and integrous market, followed by strict and stern enforcement and proportional penatlies.
