I believe that the current system is unfair to retail investors and the playing field is far from level. It is clear to me that there are parties (marketmakers) that are able to play the system by using various loopholes.
I genuinely think the markets can never be too transparent and those that say otherwise i cannknly assume have something illegal to hide.
The world is watching the american market and its manipulation by bad actors abusing the system and controlling/manuipulating prices and treating it as their own personal casino. Confidence needs to be restored and offending parties need to be dealt with quickly and punishment needs tk be fit for purpose. A fine that is less than the amount they can make from non-compliance of the rules is patently not fit for purpose.
The confidence and trust of retail investors is at an all time low to say the least and the reputation of the american stock market is at stake and in danger of becoming a joke to the extent that retail investors will just go elsewhere where they are treated fairly.
