As an individual retail investor, I find this rule change extremely beneficial in making the markets more transparent, fair, and equitable for ALL investors. Regulatory bodies and policymakers should always have insight into the market conditions, the different kinds of influence market makers and hedge funds have over individuals, and a rule like this sets the stage well for fairness for all investors, small and large.
