I am a long time investor that starting putting money in my companies 401K plan at my very first job.

I was excited, young, and naive about how the system worked. Over the years I became very cynical regarding the US 'financial system'. The quotes are purposeful as I believe our financial system is more of a rich person's casino and the player are the retail investors where only a select few hit the jackpot.

In 2008, it became very apparent the people protesting against dark pools, pfof, etc. were recognizing that the SEC is basically a non-issue when it comes to punishing bad actors

And more recently, there has been a lot of attention on these issues. People have proven that many companies like GME, AMC, BBBY, Sears, Toys R Us have have been naked shorted to the detriment of long term investors.

Because the SEC has failed to act in a meaningful way, I have lost faith in the dollar as a fiat currency. And no, fines that are 'cost of business' is NOT acting in a meaningful way.

I challenge you to take this OPPORTUNITY to restore my faith in our US currency and the US financial system.
