I am just a retail investor and new to the stock market, so my knowledge is very limited at the moment. However in the initial research I've done I am very concerned about Payment for Order Flow operations being run as well as what sounds like a large percentage of stocks being traded via dark pools rather than on lit exchanges, where things are much more transparent. Basically I'm advocating for increasing transparency where it needs it.
