With this rule, investors will be much more protected in making an informed decision on an investment since they would be able to find out if their stock is being manipulated with swaps. This will be good for all investors as those who are worried about their company's stock performance could tell whether it was abusive swap manipulation or a poor quarter for the company and let the investor make the correct decisions since they have almost all the information they need. Furthermore, it would give investors more confidence in investing in a certain company if they know more information about it's stock, this rule, by giving the public the statistics on potential swap abuse would allow all investors to make confident and protected financial decisions. All investors would be able to access this information and overall, would be a good addition for the markets.
