Just wanted to thank Chair Gensler and the Commission for getting such important legislation in front of the public, especially as it relates to SBS positions. As a retail investor, ever since trading was illegally halted by several brokers last January, I've become more interested in market mechanics, which led me to dig deeper and learn as much as I could about the American stock market. And yikes. Not a pretty picture. Over the course of the year, I've grown deeply concerned about how my trades are handled, and how the securities I own are priced (or not priced) based on the opaque, and oftentimes unethical, practices of market makers, hedge funds, banks, and other large players. And yet in spite of all that, S7-32-10 gives me a small shred of hope. On behalf of millions like me, I want to say keep fighting the good fight. The little guy needs you, especially now. Please accept these proposed rule changes and begin enforcing them as soon as possible. The integrity of the stock market depends on it, and so does the trust of retail investors across several generations, in a wide range of circumstances, both in the U.S. and abroad.
