It is clear to many millions of people that the stock market has become a fraudulent casino.
There is a huge - and growing - mistrust for Wall Street, central banks and the SEC. This is hardly surprising when the abuse of securities is so transparent.
It is high time government regulators did something to protect the stock markets reputation.
This proposal appears to be a step in the correct direction.
