I believe these rule changes would increase market transparency. Our \"free and fair markets,\" do not seem to operate in a free and fair manner. Dark pool trading abuse and PFOF combined have shrouded the markets in secrecy, and have made me question whether or not investing in our markets is a wise way to plan for the future.
The market makers and big players on Wall Street have countless advantages over the public and creates the vibe of a casino. Market makers and big players fulfilling the role of the \"House\" and everyone knows, at the end of the day, the house always wins.
Please implement the proposed changes. If the curtain is pulled back, and the exposed market is operating just fine, then know one should have fought this change in the first place. If the changes expose fraud and manipulation, then that will be a victory for all citizens of the United States, if not citizens of the planet.
Please level the playing field.
