Competition is good for the markets, it's how price discovery happens.

The current market where trades can be routed through dark pools are unethical and detrimental to our fair and free market.

The current market is not fair and free, it is controlled by large market makers who have powers to spoof, re-route, and naked short companies and then profit off of them.

When market makers are dealt a relatively small fine for breaking certain rules, only to keep doing them over and over again, it begs the question how is this legal and if a retail trader were to do this, they would be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law.

There is obviously a disconnect between the market we have right now, and the fair and free market we should have.

Our country is supposed to be the greatest country in the world. We are supposed to be the land of the free. When did money start controlling us? When will it be enough? All we want is transparency and it seems like it's too much to ask. My grandfather fought for this country in WW2 and I hope that you can fit for something much smaller but for the same reasons; Freedom.
