March 31, 2023 Current business models of broker-dealers are generating billions in profit at the expense of household investors through internalization, arbitrage and payment for order flow. Pretending that the current model serves the interests of the investing public at large is disingenuous at best. Providing competition in any market stimulates innovation and provides a better product for the end user - the American Investor in this case.
