I am writing you to express my support for the above rule proposals. Below are some points which will demonstrate why I believe these rules should be implemented… The state of American markets does not support true competition which is essential to a free and fair market. The off-exchange systems that currently dominate give a select few a huge advantage. Wholesalers have too much influence on other market participants, and conflicts of interest occur too often. Removing middlemen will improve prices for both individuals and institutions, such as pension funds. The auctions would save individuals billions of dollars taken by wholesalers. The Commission should ensure fair competition by reducing monopolistic behaviour and removing profiteering middlemen from the market. The proposed rule would bring more transparency to dark markets.
