This rule is a massively essential step forward to help undo the massive amounts of corruption and manipulation retail investors face when trying to participate in what should be free and fair markets. Certain Wall Street entities have enjoyed and abused their privileges against retail using PFOF for far too long. No matter how much they whine about this passing, they're reasons against it hold no weight. Assuming that they are not outright lying. This rule is the best I've seen in a long time that will truly benifit retail investors because it is actually enforceable since it demands competition between Wall Street entities that would usually be enjoying no competition for "fulfillment" of retails orders.
