The Order Competition Rule and Payment For Order Flow need to end now. The sudden down turn of the NYSE in 2020 forced me to learn and pay attention. The casino betting attitude of specifically hedge fund market making companies is ruining the fair and formidable appearance of the NYSE on the world scale. The SEC needs to limit the efficacy of illegitimate and illegal acts, by not simply charging minuscule fines, but by de-incentivizing illegal profitable acts with sweeping and lasting justice for retail investors.
