To begin with, I'd like to thank the Commission for attempting to improve our markets. Especially, if it's an action that would "dramatically overhaul current market structure". We need a more competitive, transparent and efficient market. The rules as they are do not benefit retail investors.

We need a market that works like a market. I want my orders argued over. I want them fought for. I want fair competition. I do not want them shunted off away from the lit market to some wholesaler who gives me a fraction of a cent of "price improvement" and tells me that's the best I could have got and that I should be happy.

I want competitive order execution.

I do not want some middle man taking a cut just because they paid my broker to get to my order first. I'd be happy to pay money to avoid this situation, if only because it infuriates me that these middle men are making (by the Commissions' own estimate) $1.5 billion a year for doing nothing. Or less than nothing, as it appears.

I fully support this rule and I would hope that you will implement it as soon as possible.
