Dear SEC, I really like most of the aspects of this rule. I think it will help out retail investors and protect them from being at a disadvantage from what is increasingly becoming a consolidated monopoly. One concern I have is that the rule would allow for orders to go to companies like Citadel FIRST and then to auction for fair competition. I think that brokers should route to auction first, and if someone doesn’t take your order, then it could be rerouted to Citadel SECOND. Another concern I have is that we will immediately go back to the days of having to pay for every transaction on brokerages. It would be nice to see some sort of cap on the price of trades.
