March 7, 2023 As a household investor and first and foremost, tax payer of the United States, I want the financial markets to be equal. I don't want market makers, hedge funds or any large institution to have rules that bend to their favor. With technology where it is today, it is crazy to think certain institutions/broker dealers have an advantage as trades run through them and don't necessarily need to allow for trades to hit the open market. That is what a market is for... If these trades are internalized, it is not a fair market at all for both buyers and sellers. Let everything be open and fair and do it on behalf of all investors and to uphold the integrity that should exist in the financial system.
