February 23, 2023 I am all for the proposed rule. The retail investor has been at a disadvantage since technology replaced a simpler trading process. The mere existence of dark pools should be disputed but for now effectively diverting trades to the lit exchange is a push in the right direction. PFOF I feel is a huge conflict of interest. When retail market orders are being purchased and redirected off kit exchange this affects price discovery in a negative manor. The securities exchanges need to be overhauled as manipulation has gone on for too long. Lets pass and move towards a better future.
