My name is Jack Pieper. I am an individual investor, and someone who will be participating in US markets for the next few decades.
I believe that this rule change will help break up monopolistic wholesale practices in the investment industry, to the benefit of all market participants.
Any amount of \"price improvement\" provided by these wholesalers is a negligible amount of money saved when looking at the fact that true price discovery is hindered by the current practices in the wholesaling industry.
I think this rule is an important step forward in the battle for free and fair markets that we can all benefit from.
I'd like to thank the SEC and Gary Gensler for proposing this rule, and I wholeheartedly support it.
