I do not support this rule.
I think all orders should be routed to the dark pools. Dark pools are cool and fun. Who needs the lit market? Citadels pool is big enough for everyone. We can all swim in the infinite liquidity of our market maker privileges. We dont need to locate shares at all. Poof like magic they appear and we also dont have to pay cost to borrow fees. If a couple of meme stock companies where to drown in our dark pools could you look the other way (wink wink)
These pools are dark for a reason
If you swim deep enough you can find the rotting corpses of Sears, Blockbusher, Toys R US and many more
