I absolutely think this is a step in the right direction for retail and market fairness. Please pass this regulation.As important as this is however, the largest, and single most undermining and criminal threat to market integrity is the continued allowance of FAILURE TO DELIVER of so called market makers, brokers, and other institutions without forced buy in. This practice is enabling the broad-daylight robbery of retail and completely undermines free markets and price discovery by allowing manipulation of securities behind closed doors. This involves billions of dollars and millions of retail victims. Unregulated and unaudited entities like this lead to a business like ftx defrauding the u.s. and the world.
