Private Equity funded construction and related equipment to build subdivisions and commercial property that the citizens had no say in. The city of Cabot, Lonoke County, and other areas being developed forced rezoning after selling homes. Private equity should not be allowed to operated to undermine public input by funding population growth. We should not have been forced to double the number of schools or live in the middle of a rolling parking lot because the construction cartel wants to make a profit and use backdoor funding instead of bond issued. Mayor Cypert and city attorney Jimmy Taylor put a bond statute on the ballot that belongs to the US Treasury's authority. That was likely to justify abuse initiated by former Mayor Mickey D. Stumbaugh. Senator Eddie Joe Williams, was installed in office to pay him a bonus for defrauding the citizens and AR Rep Tim Lemons raked in the profits through his family business. AR AG Leslie Rutledge failed to reign in the corruption.
