I am in support of this rule.  Brokers have a fiduciary responsibility to their customers and this rule for Best Execution should be a clear part of that responsibility.  Without the best execution rule, customers may not be aware of revenue arrangements between brokers and subpar trading firms or that they may be paying higher transaction prices.
