March 1, 2023 As a household investor and first and foremost, tax payer of the United States, I want the financial markets to be equal. I don't want market makers, hedge funds or any large institution to have rules that bend to their favor. Make the playing field equal. In reading this proposed rule summary alone, I can't believe how complicated the information needs to be in order to help cover the SEC from lawyers being able to pick it apart. It should be simple but the power and money that big trading firms, market makers and broker dealers have requires the SEC to cover every detail because loopholes will be found. In the end... make the markets/trading the same for all.
